Using The Bible To Ban Same Sex Marriages

Published by blondiewrites at 8:17 am under Same Sex Marriages Edit This

Although the bible may state in so many words that same sex marriages are a sin against God, what about the other sins that are more important. Banning the word God from government buildings, schools and wherever else it used to be allowed. If this can happen, then why do people push so hard to ban same sex marriages because they are against God as well.

There is a double standard. This is against God so forbid it, but this is against God, but you must follow it. Did you know that having a nativity scene in front of a government building is forbidden because it represents something to do with God? Yes, a nativity scene is bad! The people who do not want God mentioned anywhere they may frequent are allowed to dictate where God is allowed, but people that wish to marry and are of the same sex have no say.

A double standard now exists. Do as I say and not as I do. Remember when your parents used to say that to you when you were little. Now, some dumb fool as made this a standard to live by. Strike out against God by not displaying or saying his name in public, but do not expect to live your life any other way than what the bible says.

Should laws be made according to the bible when the name God is banned from being said? I believe laws and government buildings go together. If God is not allowed in government buildings, then the bible should not be used as a bargaining tool to ban same sex marriages.
