The Soaps Are Gaining Momentum With Everyone Straight And Gay
Soaps such as “As the World Turns” are gaining momentum in the gay community and society itself. The kiss between Luke and Noah has gained more viewers recently. You do not have to be gay to appreciate that fact that it about time society accepts gays and quits trying to ban gay relationships on television or anywhere.
The recent kiss between Luke and Noah has sparked a fire with the American Family Association, but viewers evidently forgot to read the news that everyone is against this type of display on television. “As the World Turns” viewers rating is up and the numbers do not lie. The suggestion of boycotting Procter & Gamble is not a solution, it is a group of people trying to make people live the way they want them to.
I would be curious to know what the exact numbers are for gays in the
United States. I would bet that there are just as many gay people as well as bi-sexual people as there are straight people. Why you might wonder would I suggest such a thing. The reason is that being gay is no longer something that needs to be kept secret. Look at all the people, even famous people that are gay.
The fact is that being gay is not forbidden any longer. This is supposed to be a free country. That means that being gay should have no bearing on your standing in the community.
