This is a great video where a teen boy talks about coming out. Hear how he has dealt with his sexuality. It is a story about fear coming out to your parents. It is a story all should watch. He explains how he felt and how his parents felt.

Everyone must get involved. It is not heterosexual murders and gang fights that are killing people. It is hate crimes against gays. Even if disagree with the gay presence, you cannot feel that any being should be killed. Even if you are a Christian, you cannot condone murder or can you? Fight for life, fight to pass the hate crime law to protect everyone.

Jerry Farwell is a moron. I have never understood why people with an ounce of intelligence would listen to him. When he opens his mouth, he is the biggest bigot against anything that does not meet his standards. Learn the truth about the hate crime laws and find out why they are important for everyone. Between Sarah Palin and Jerry Farwell, the world will never see any hate crime bills passed if they had their ways.

We need to take action and learn how to help pass the hate crimes law before it is to late for any of us, even you the heterosexual. If gays can be discriminated against, who is to stop it from coming through your backdoor?

This is an inspirational video that tells a girls story from starting the Gay Straight Alliance at her school and what she went through to get changes in the way the school recognized the group. This is very well put together and won 2nd place in the 2007 NCAC contest.

I was appalled at this video until I watched the entire thing. As the video says in the beginning, you have to watch the entire thing to see what it is really saying to the people. After watching, I understood the point to the video and realized what it meant. Please watch and comment if you wish.

It is time to think about someone else today rather than what your neighbors might be doing or who they may be interested in.

Many people felt the lost of a great actor, racecar driver and friend. Paul Newman died at the age of 83 of cancer. Paul Newman was my mom’s favorite actor. When he was in Wisconsin at Road America filming many moons ago, my mom was on the sidelines watching. She could be found standing and watching the filming and she wasn’t alone. Many people from the area came to Road America to see the great Paul Newman. Here is a Paul Newman interview done 2007 by an American Reporter. He does talk about something he misses and can no longer do.

If you allow one person to lose their rights to freedom and equality, you are opening doors for future losses for yourself. On Wednesday Oct 1, 2008, a tribute to Del Martin will be held at the San Francisco City Hall rotunda. In attendance will be Nancy Pelosi, House Speaker, D-San Francisco and Mayor Gavin Newsom whom married Del and Phyllis Lyon just a few months ago in June. The celebration will start at 2 PM and everyone is welcome. There will be many in attendance including Sistah Boom.

Del Martin is the co-founder of the Daughters of Bilitis, which was organized in 1955 along with her wife Phyllis. The celebration is for her life and her accomplishments. Del martin was very active in the rights of lesbians in and around the country. She is a published author and a long time friend of many.

This is something that most people have never had the opportunity to hear or see. It is a panel including Phyllis and Del talking about the organization. It is interesting to hear the things that are talked about. Since the passing of Del martin recently, it is important to know how hard her and Phyllis worked to bring the San Francisco marriage issue to light.

What lead up to the beautiful the wedding day and the wedding. Watch and see how beautiful everything was.
