Gay And Lesbian Life Explained

Published by blondiewrites at 10:25 am under Gay Lifestyle Edit This

Many years ago, the public decided that being gay or lesbian meant that you were an outcast with no moral values. People have decided that you have a disorder, which makes you this way. People with no concept of reality say that they can save you from being gay or lesbian. The people have spoken so it must all be true, or is it?

The gay and lesbian, transgender and bi-sexual people are born this way. Once the body starts developing, these feelings become more intense and you have no choice but to look at your life and decide if you want to tell someone you are gay or you choose to keep it quiet. This is the only choice you have. You cannot choose to be gay or lesbian, it is who you are and no one can change that.

You could deny yourself happiness by keeping quiet, but your inner urges will make you miserable. This is when depression sets in and thoughts of death surface. This is how people feel that are subjected to the ex-gay movement. You cannot make someone not gay, but you can lower there self-esteem and make them feel useless as a gay or lesbian person. This is when suicide becomes the only answer for many.

When I hear the “I want to save you” mantra I always want to ask “save me from what?” These are just ignorant people who are not willing to sit down and listen and try to understand. They use religion and the Bible as the truth so they don’t have to listen. Good post. Read my Same sex marriage post on http://apoetsview.today.com
