Justine Needs A Permanent Home

Published by blondiewrites at 7:49 am under Gay Straight Alliance Edit This

Justine is a normal teenager with a love of sports and has a very open personality. She is able to be legally adopted by a suitable family. She wants to go to a family that will keep her motivated in sports. Justine is white, follows the rules of the home, and does her chores. She is into weightlifting and basketball. Justine belongs to the Gay Straight Alliance at school. Justine is going to attend college where she would like to seek a degree in fitness and sports. She wants a two-parent home that can give her the love she needs. The family does not have to have other children in it. Applicants must go through the Massachusetts parenting training and have a in home interview with a social worker.

I hope that Justine does find a family to call her own. The fact that they felt it necessary to say that she belongs to the GSA, may turn off heterosexual couples who have closed minds. She is a normal kid that belongs to an organization and that does not make her any less of a person. You do not even know if she is gay or straight, but some people will immediately jump to the conclusion.

To learn more about Justine, you can call 617-542-3678, the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange or visit www.mareinc.org.

you know, I never thought about children in the system that are gay and challenges they face in finding a family to adopt them.

That’s a side we don’t hear about. We only hear about the gay couples trying to adopt.
