Vermont Allows Same Sex Marriage
Vermont has now joined the states that allow same sex marriages. The vote was 2/3 in favor of same sex marriage. This makes Vermont up there with Iowa ( just the other day) California and of course Massachusetts. It will take one at a time, but eventually all states will have to agree that redefining marriage and prohibiting same sex marriages will be a thing of the pass. It is the step in the right direction for all gay and lesbian couples.
Which state will be next to realize that banning same sex marriages is unconstitutional and allow the marriage between two people no matter what their sexual orientation.

GREAT POST!! thank you
This is good news Vermont and Iowa a few states at a time I say we’ll take them how we can get them. Maybe some day we all will have equal rights like it suppose to be.
cool blog btw!
That is such a depressing post…. It’s good news that things are changing. But still blows my mind that politicians and the masses feel the need to ban gay marriage to begin with.
I thought the US was suppose to be a free countries where we do not force our beliefs on others.
I don’t understand why this is an issue at all, it should be a non-issue not something that needs to be regulated.
If Bob and Jim down the street get married this has no effect on my life or the lives of my family it only effects Bob and Jim, so really shouldn’t it only be up to Bob and Jim.
Way to go Vermont!!!
